2010 BTSC DECLINES OPTIONS ON MCINERNEY, BENGTSON

2010 BTSC announced early Thursday morning that the club had declined the options on Jack McInerney and Jerry Bengtson. The club is actively negotiating with multiple clubs to find a potential trade destination for each player. Bengtson scored for Honduras against the United States in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday.

In related news, the Stags have also released a statement revealing that the club has no plans to deal a designated player slot with either McInerney or Bengtson.

    Do you plan on using both of your DP slots? Would you be interested in a 3rd Rd pick for one of them?

    My offer is still on the table. My 3rd round pick for McInnerey and a DP slot so I can keep him. If you want a player like Cooper or such I am open to that as well.
